Partnership

We have been working with Brunel University London for several years as part of the university’s mission to expand online learning to provide more flexibility to its students. Since then, the platform has launched several online degrees while being responsible for their global marketing, student recruitment, digitization and teaching. Interactive Pro has now recruited more than 1500 students globally, with half originating from countries and territories outside the UK.

Department

The Academic Operations team (Exams and Assessments), are responsible for multiple administrative areas including: • Leading and monitoring the process management such as: o Standard marking, moderation, double blind marking and external examination for Student Scripts. o Module Brief updates, moderation and external examiner approval. o Academic Misconduct reporting. • Ensuring these and others are completed in a timely manner whilst also maintaining that they are kept in line with the Brunel Senate Regulations and Processes. • Maintaining, crosschecking, and confirming data for Module Panels and Examination Boards held by Brunel. • Maintaining and hosting the Internal Boards (Interactive Delivery teams in attendance). • Setting up the ‘Flows’ in the university assessment system Wiseflow, and updating approved extensions or other students updates and changes, so their student profile reflects the module/s they are in. • And many other areas. All the above is interlinked across the partnership, working with multiple departments within Brunel and internally with IA delivery teams, such as Student Support and the Academic staff. Being interlinked with these teams leads to training and documentation needing to be provided, specifically for processes such as marking that is held on a platform that an academic may not be familiar with. The Role This role consists of data handling and management, and process management. These are some areas that you will be facilitating, monitoring, and managing the processes of, and ensuring that they are complete within the set timelines and the university regulations across multiple modules; - Marking, moderation, and external examination of student submissions. - Brief creation and maintenance. - Flagging, and reporting of academic misconduct cases. - Flow creation and maintenance. - Mark Entry. - Data management within SITs client It is expected that you will be taking on a full set of programmes within the partnership and running it in their entirety from an Academic Operations standpoint. There is the opportunity to also work in a more dynamic position across all programmes within the partnership. The complexity of tasks will increase throughout the year as the SITs platform is integrated into your day-to-day tasks.
