We’re looking for an English-language copywriter to join our growing team, working with our clients to create captivating content and drive communications success. The Role
Working with client account teams, you’ll produce English-language copy on a wide range of topics. You’ll brainstorm with colleagues and clients on the best ways to present client stories, performing a vital consultancy function in addition to your copywriting work. You’ll also be the main point of contact for all English-language content matters throughout the agency, advising colleagues and editing their English-language content to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities
Writing press releases, feature stories, social media posts, marketing communications materials and other content as required by clients and client account teams.
Editing English-language content produced by colleagues, suggesting stylistic improvements while checking for grammar, spelling and consistency with meticulous attention to detail.
Assisting in the creation of activity proposals and new business proposals.
Taking a creative approach to copywriting, working with client account teams to brainstorm topics and approaches.
Playing an active role in suggesting appropriate media approaches for clients, taking into account print and online media, social media, and other communications channels.
Helping client account teams create communications plans.
Communicating regularly with clients, participating in client meetings as required.
How you’ll stand out:
Excellent writing skills, with experience of writing in a range of styles and contexts – experience of media writing is preferred but not essential.
Strong storytelling capabilities, capable of quickly crafting memorable written content.
Sensitivity to differences in writing and communications styles, able to switch between different styles with ease.
A proactive and helpful approach to teamwork, editing and suggesting changes to colleagues’ work in a sensitive and constructive manner.
An ability to accept, absorb and act upon feedback from colleagues and clients.
Strong spoken communication skills in addition to your writing capabilities.
Superior English-language skills.
