Transport Planning Specialist

As a Transport Planner in the International Logistics team, you will be making sure that containers with the beer will be loaded on time and without extra cost, and delivered to the final destination safely and according to the request of the customer.  You will closely communicate with several stakeholders; the internal Inventory team (regarding beer availability, and the freshness of stock), Warehouses and the Documentation team.

What will you be doing:  

• Secure vessel transport by sending booking requests to carriers as per defined deadlines

• Follow up on bookings and their arrangements - Working with SAP, TMS (Transport Management System) and Excel

• Coordinate any ad hoc issues and requests from your Line manager

• Maintain steady relationships with stakeholders

• Provide input on performance issues with carriers or loading sites

• Cooperation with the international team of the Exporting Zone and the Global Team

• Provide visibility on the performance of external suppliers

• Report KPIs and take actions to improve service quality

What you'll bring:  

• Logistics Experience in an FMCG company for at least 1-2 years or experience in Supply Chain overall (Logistics Transport or Warehousing)

• Fluency in English (Spanish/Portuguese is an advantage)

• Logistics understanding, especially in regard to a sense of urgency and prioritization

• Interpersonal skills / Assertiveness & Communication

• General business sense

• Flexibility and resilience
