native Chinese(Mandarin) teacher

Who am I?
I was born and grew up in Shanghai, moved to Germany for study at university. After graduation I'm living in Prague. I attended in China, Germany and in Czech Republic a lot of language and teaching courses. I started to teach in 2010, I taught at language school group lesson, intensive classes, but I specialize in teaching Mandarin individually or in very small groups. Always I prepare the courses according to students’ needs and personality. And I like to work with little students as well, I am using playful methods that children enjoy and also teach.


I prepare individual study materials according to student’s level of Chinese
With my students we are using different text books which are specialized for each level of study. I create printed materials individually for each student and his/her knowledge of Chinese language. We are also using other original Chinese prints like f.e. Chinese comics where pictures and short texts simplify understanding of stories.

Development of teaching planning
We follow student's needs, practice areas that the student wants to strengthen. Learning pronunciation helps with speaking, understanding and listening skills. To improve student’s pronunciation, talking is the only way. We will always find topics that the students are interested and passionate about.

Responsiblity for learners’ progress
Language is not the only way to know China. I also recommend Chinese movie, Chinese news, and popular social media. We can talk about traditional or modern life in China, people and their habits, culture. If the student wants to study or work in China, I will recommend ideal institution or company and also help with contacting Chinese subjects and administrative affairs.
