Experienced and certified teacher of Japanese and Macedonian

I am a certified language teacher with an MA in Didactics of Languages, and I have 15 years career in teaching. I have experience in teaching at primary school level, high school, as well as university level. I have taught in language schools in several countries (Japan, Macedonia, Czech Republic), and I enjoy sharing my knowledge from the bottom of my heart :) I also have experience with online teaching, so I am open to various platforms of knowledge exchange.
As I speak fluently Macedonian, Italian, English and Japanese, I am very aware of the different types of language interference that occur in the initial process of learning a language. In other words, I know from the very start what kind of difficulties the learner with his/her specific native language background will face (whether it be a Romance language, a Slavic language or a Japanese language speaker). I am able to quickly identify the pain points of each learner and work in a structured way to build a solid base from the very beginning. I am very strong in grammar (PhD in Linguistics), and I am able to convey the structure of the new language in a concise yet interesting manner :) In my teaching I combine simultaneously the focus on solid grammar foundations and the communicative approach. I dive in from the very beginning in vocabulary build-up, and I urge my students to start speaking right away. In other words, only after a couple of lessons we start using the target language as our main communication tool :)

I always try to make my lessons fun and enjoyable for my students, that's the best way to learn! I like using different types of materials, primary sources from real life information platforms and various literature.
