English courses for people working in Architecture, Engineering and Construction.
The course is for non-native speakers of English and it focuses on developing students’ context-based skills in English and their communicative competence. It covers topics related to civil engineering and architecture aiming at increasing students’ vocabulary and familiarizing them with a variety of text types and discourse environments. Business skills such as telephoning, writing emails, letters, etc. are also practiced. Having worked on large projects in the Czech Republic, I realized the importance of good communication. I have been living in the Czech Republic for many years and am currently active in design and construction of residential and commercial projects.
