We offer a castle for sale in Polní Voděrady. The entire property has been completely renovated and can be used for very comfortable family living. The chateau is surrounded by a large park with a playground and a perfectly groomed water reservoir. The property is protected by a newly built stone wall. The complex includes also farm buildings with stables, where the original stone and brick walls as well as vaulted ceilings have been preserved.

On the ground floor of the chateau there is a dining room, kitchen, living rooms, study, children's rooms and facilities for the staff with a side staircase, so that the owner is not disturbed by the traffic.

The total number of rooms in the castle building is 29.

From history related to the Castle architecture:
Originally a fortress built after 1569 stood on the land. In 1642, the new owner built a new Baroque one-storey chateau of a rectangular shape, covered with a shingle roof. This building supposed to be the core of today's construction, but it has not been 100% confirmed. According to some sources, however, some of the peripheral walls of the chateau could be preserved from the original fortress in the newly set up walls. At the same time, around the 1642, the park was built too.

In the second half of the 19th century a new building of today's castle was built. Significant adjustments were made in the eclectic style with elements of the beginning Art Nouveau. To the west wall of the older rectangular wing was added a new wing with a nearly square layout and a new highlighted entrance with a balcony on the columns by the southern facade. The exterior facades were accentuated by cornices, the windows were separated by flat pilasters ending with richly decorated Corinthian column heads and fitted with above and below window cornices and fronts. The shield above the roof risalit was also newly renovated and decorated with the Eisenstein coat of arms. The shingle roof has been replaced by a low sheet metal hipped roof with a small tin turret.

After the confiscation of property to the last aristocratic owner in 1945 under the Beneš decrees, the chateau served as a municipal office. From the late 1980s, after the last tenants had left, the building was abandoned and began to deteriorate rapidly. In 2007, the chateau was listed as a National Monument. The current owner took over the castle in 2014 in a severely damaged condition and immediately began to reconstruct the buildings and park, while trying to preserve the important building and interior elements that could be saved. However, it has been possible to create modern living to meet the demands of the present time. In the farmyard there are buildings for housing and also sta...
