We are looking for a localization CAT support agent interested in working remotely for a fast-growing, global, cloud-based translation technology company. We would like you to join the Memsource Technical Support team and help us cover early morning European hours 2-10am Prague Time (9am-5pm Tokyo Time). In this role, you will be expected to learn the ins and outs of our daily routines and procedures. You will work as a part of the Memsource Technical Support team to ensure continued company growth while working in a fun, innovative, start-up environment with an experienced and supportive team.


In this role, you will

  • Help translators and reviewers solve problems with their translation projects
  • Help Project Managers set up project workflows and manage their Linguistic teams
  • Help Memsource users with best practices for managing translation memories, term bases, and machine translations
  • Interact with Memsource users using our Zendesk ticketing system
  • Create requests for enhancing current features (e.g. Quality Assurance, Concordance Search, Project Templates, etc.) based on user feedback.
  • Reproduce issues reported by Project Managers and Linguists in all the Memsource Editors and fill in bug reports
  • Help translators and Project Managers to prepare and import various file formats (e.g. Word, Excel, XML, YAML, JSON etc.)
  • Identify gaps in our Help Center and update content on a regular basis


You should have

  • Excellent written and communication English skills - we’re an international team and English is our official language
  • Experience with other CAT tools and a localization background
  • Experience with help desk platforms, such as Zendesk
  • Interest and ability to learn technical aspects of the language and localization industry
  • Advanced PC skills - technology is our friend, not our enemy
  • A self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven attitude
  • The ability to organize and prioritize multiple deadlines and pay attention to details, accuracy
  • Speaking Japanese is a plus
