You will be responsible for creating and managing a content library specifically for RFI responses and bespoke proposals. Responsibilities include creating relevant and innovative content to ensure ICON standout in the bid process and gain a competitive edge over its competitors. Timely production of proposal content is key as is marketplace analysis and business awareness to ensure proposals are relevant and provide solutions to targeted prospects.


Main Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to compile detailed bespoke prospect proposals and maintain an up-to date content library of case studies, relevant business information, testimonials and achievements.


Responsibilities Include

  • Support the sales lead in the analysis of the client needs from the outsourcing project
  • Support the identification of any potential issues and risks and help support the mitigation of these
  • Understand a prospect marketplace in order to define and build a solution that meets and exceeds requirements
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define and structure the best solution fit for the prospect needs, i.e the solution design
  • Work with internal stakeholders to coordinate and review/edit solution input, this would include sales, solutions, operational/technical SMEs, finance, legal, commercial/pricing and across the different sites involved in the bid
  • Take accountability for overall solution output, which includes conceptualisation, identification, and articulation, for all high value opportunities


Proposal Creation Responsibilities

  • Manage the solution information (internal solution calls, information flows and consolidation of all input) in order to achieve the prospect deadlines
  • Solution Documentation: Responsible for creation of the final solution documentation. Including; information about our prospect (needs/wants from the project), products and service offering to deliver against the prospect need, creating repeatable solution documents that can be re-purposed
  • Business Presentations; Take lead on creation of both prospect and ICON company presentations
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end written proposal for the prospect solution. This is both content and presentation with clear articulation of the ICON value proposition
  • Support creation of a solutions knowledge-base which will include details of all prospect solutions, solution documentation and relevant information to support a repeatable sales engine


Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Finance, or any other business-related field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for the position
  • 3+ years of successful experience in similar role, preferably in BPO Industry and/or service-based sales
  • Exceptional content creation skills – specifically PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding service sales best practices, methodology and procedures
  • A tenacious high energy attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
  • High level of integrity and a strong commitment to building a successful company
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Adept computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, namely Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM applications preferred
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales or similar, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
