Job Description:

PrimeRevenue is looking for a full stack developer with deep experience building web applications using legacy and modern front-end frameworks like Spring MVC and Angular2. You will join the TEAM as a developer of our financial applications and work with Java, Spring, SQL, Docker and Gradle. In this role, you will continuously improve the design and quality of our products. You will also have an opportunity to contribute ideas and code as we develop our new microservices architecture using Java 8, Spring Boot and Angular2.

Job Functions:

Development using UI frameworks and legacy Java
Learning & Implementation using new UI and backend frameworks
Understanding the legacy application infrastructure to support our web app
Unit testing JS and Java code before checking into source control
Following agile practices
Delivering code to specifications
Building a great user experience

Job Responsibilities:

Mentor and provide support/guidance for TEAM members
Participate in engineer hiring process
Take an interest in technical and business training
Assist PM and Lead with story carding and sprint planning
Participate in production on-call rotation for at least one product, including attending daily production support calls during rotation
Engage in recruiting efforts
Participate in agile development process
Capable of independently supporting production systems and resolving client support requests
Participate in the deployment of our products and provides support if issues arise
Actively work to make our products better through:
Research and application of new technology and design
Identification of improvement areas for product
Utilizing best practices
Contributes to development of products through:
Daily hands-on development
Employing automated testing practices
Review of work by engineers on the TEAM
Assistance to product management with research and planning

Job Qualifications:

Proficient in English (C1 or higher)
Extensive experience working with critical systems
Proficient in Java development in legacy as well as Java 7 and 8
Knowledge of early Spring MVC Framework.
JavaScript, XML, HTML, JSON
SQL & Relational database experience.
Unit testing using common testing tools such as JUnit, EasyMock, etc.
RESTful Services
Log4J 2/SLF4J
Advance experience in at least one object-oriented language & framework
Ability and commitment to work collaboratively across internal and external TEAMs
Highly capable developer who continues to learn and apply new technologies
Able to organize and manage complex assignments and designs
Able to quickly identify areas of improvement within the code base, and communicate issues effectively
Understands and can employ best practices
Able to work independently and understand when escalation is required
Extensive experience working with critical systems
Development IDE and Tools such as Eclipse, Firebug, Chrome Dev Tools
Linux and Windows


MS SQL Server, T-SQL, PostgreSQL, Stored Procedures
Circle CI
Big Data Analytics experience
Angular 2 / TypeScript
Spring Boot
Understanding and the appropriate use of Microservice Architecture
