The primary focus of the role is to be a team lead of L3 and security engineers as well as deliver technical expertise to the whole NOC team. The Technical Lead will liaise with a client and other stakeholders in order to agree on additional support and ensure first-class services.
Your Responsibilities
- Coaching and mentoring of the NOC team offering technical expertise
- Coordination of the scope of the NOC services, responsible to an operations manager
- Providing support to direct reports where the ticket is highly technical or sophisticated in nature
- Acting as emergency support contact as needed, for a critical client and business-impacting issues
- Responsible for continuous service improvement (activity planning, progress tracking, …)
- Attending the operations meetings (usually remotely)
- Monitoring of SLA fulfillment
- Communicating with other teams and clients for extending support
- Performs quality audits, covering process, service experience, ticket updates, etc as required
- Relationship management with other service providers (helpdesk, server mgmt, …), NOC, and Local network support
Required Experience:
- previous experience in coaching, mentoring, or leading Support Engineers
- previous experience as a Team leader in a managed service environment would be an asset
- In-depth experience and understanding of the IT industry and standards for IT service management
- Solid experience in delivering support in a large Cisco-based network environment. (LAN, WAN, Datacenter, WLAN and/or Security)
- Experience with Bluecoat Proxy Servers, F5 Loadbalances, Fortinet, Aruba WLAN and/or HP switches is essential
- Previous experience with one of the followings SDN, NIPS, C- RAN, Network Feature Virtualization
