Location: Prague

Contract: full time, unlimited

The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

·      Ownership of month-end closing activities for country in scope - prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts related analytics

·      Responsible for the accuracy of General Ledger accounting entries and Reconciliations in accordance with GAAP, Compliance, Internal Audit and SOX requirements;

·      Building a strong awareness of the local business and closely cooperate with local teams

·      Acting as a Process owner (Subject Matter Expert) for accounting processes - being the “go to” person, provide training and SOP update

·      Researching and resolving discrepancies with a focus on automation and process improvement

·      Working on special projects as assigned from time to time including technical and new business initiatives

·      Demonstrating communication and teamwork on a daily basis

·      Ensuring strong internal controls are in place in order to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings


We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:

·      Bachelor degree in finance/accounting

·      Proficient level of written and oral English

·      Minimum 2 years working experience in Finance

·      In-depth understanding of accounting cycle, month-end close process and flow of financial information within the General Ledger

·      Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information

·      MS Office literacy (Advanced MS Excel knowledge required)

·      Good ERP knowledge (SAP)

·      Proficient level of written and oral English

·      Strong interpersonal & communication skills with an ability to work with people at different levels and in remote locations

·      Self-motivated, deadline oriented, fast-learner, who is an organized, dedicated, hands-on team player with excellent problem-solving skills and comfortable with unstructured, dynamic environment
