We’re seeking detail oriented manager passionate about quality. Experience in higher education is highly desired but not essential. The quality manager will work with the various departments at InterActive and report to the Registrar and will ensure that policies and procedures are followed. In addition, the quality manager is expected to regularly contribute to the development of quality assurance practice and procedures across the organisation.

A typical day in the life of a Quality Manager:
• Working with the Registrar, developing and delivering organisation’s quality assurance and enhancement processes and procedures across the organisation.
• To assist in planning and preparing for internal or external quality assurance reviews and events and accreditation / validations.
• Contribute to the planning and management of annual course monitoring validation, review and audit in association with the Academic Lead and Registrar.
• Manage the monitoring of External Examiner reports; drafting an overview report including an analysis of cross organisation issues.
• Co-ordinate the student feedback process in conjunction with Student Support Coordinators.
• Analyse data and manage the production and distribution of reports in connection with quality assurance matters.
• Manage and provide support for a cohesive, streamlined governance structure. To develop and introduce standardised formats for agendas, papers and minutes, ensuring that actions are tracked and completed in a timely way.
• Act as Secretary to the Programmes Board, its subcommittees and other cross organisation committees and working groups as required.

You’ll best fit our requirements with:
o Educated to undergraduate degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
o Experience of quality management within the higher education sector
o Experience of academic appeals within the higher education sector
o An understanding of assessment policy and regulation within the higher education sector.
o Communicates effectively orally and in writing adapting the message for a diverse audience in an inclusive and accessible way
o Plans, prioritises and manages resources effectively to achieve long term objectives
o Works collaboratively in a team and where appropriate across or with different professional groups
o Builds and maintains positive relationships with students.
o Suggests practical solutions to new or unique problems
