The Pricing & Profitability Lead is a high impact position that sits within the Pricing Center of Excellence, part of Accenture’s Sales & Pricing Performance (S&PP) corporate function. The Pricing & Profitability Lead has a mission to reinforce a differentiated pricing strategy for an Accenture Service or Global Strategic Effort by developing and implementing programs and initiatives that will drive price and profitability improvement. This individual engages directly with business leadership and sales executives to understand current trends and challenges and to address pricing and profitability needs through adoption of key processes and tools.



Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Service Pricing Strategy, Execution and Reinforcement - Support leadership in defining the Service strategy and aligning the strategy to Accenture's pricing approach to maximize profitable growth across the Service


  • Work closely with MU and Service Leadership and Pricing Optimization to identify systemic issues that need to be corrected and drive the plan to action. These will be addressed at the Service level and communicated across S&PP (Pricing Architects, Sales Operations, Business Partners, etc.). 


  • Proactively identify trends and provide insight on opportunities for price and profitability optimization both overall and across priority accounts/deals


  • Engage with CIO and S&PP Tools/Applications Team to ensure Service level representation and drive Service specific inputs 


  • Stakeholder Education – Drive upskilling of client-facing practitioners and internal teams involved in sales & pricing, equipping them with the context and confidence to exhibit profitable pricing behaviors


  • Serve as liaison between Service Leadership, Pricing CoE and Pricing Optimization teams to ensure the necessary support exists to execute Service specific pricing strategy


  • Interact confidently and build credible relationships with senior leadership


  • Partner with the S&PP team supporting the Service (i.e. Business Partner, Analytics Leads, Pricing Architects, Sales Ops, etc.) consistently


  • Create and execute medium to high complexity workplans
