Job Description

Be accountable for and own the quality of content and UI for EI’s branded sites at a regional level.
Line management of a team of quality managers and translators.
Run the production and workload of your regional team, monitoring the utilization of resources across teams.
Align the quality processes across all resources in line with the project requirements
Implement a quality system to monitor the quality across their region.
Liaise with partners regarding quality issues and establishing a solid review cycle, assessing the feedback from internal clients together with Project Managers.
Exhibit strong leadership, you will create strong business relationships in support of business objectives, and lead a culture of continuous improvement and quality monitoring.
Monitor project quality metrics and take the necessary actions based on quality results and trends
Requirements / Qualifications

Proven experience in the localization/internet industry as a manager/senior team leader

Degree in Translation/Linguistics/Computational linguistics or equivalent relevant experience
Extensive writing/editing experience, preferably in e-commerce content development
Working knowledge of translation memory software and translation processes
Experience of working in a global environment
People management: team building, conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision-making. Ability to give constructive feedback.
Very strong communication skills. Expertise in English written and spoken communication
Quality focused with experience of copywriting in their native language desirable
