L1 Network Support Engineer with English and Dutch/French/German 24x7
The primary responsibility of Network Support Engineers is to provide a service to external clients to ensure that the IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems and to restore service to end-users by managing incidents to resolution. The Network Support Engineer L1 focuses on first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents, requests, problems, and events.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of existing infrastructure
- Providing 1st line support - solving incidents, events, problems
- Where necessary, they escalate requests and exceptions to the 2nd line support team.
- Incident, problem, request, and event management
- Shift Management
Required Work Experience:
- previous working experience with supporting networking technologies
- knowledge of Cisco technologies
- CCNA certification is a big plus
- English language (written and spoken) - at least B2
- French, Dutch, or German language (written and spoken) - is a big plus
- willingness to work shifts 24x7 (nights, weekends, public holidays)
