About your job:

This role is our first sales leadership role based in Europe, reporting to the Head of Sales (hello 👋This is Kevin, writing this job description.) We’re looking for a leader for our growing team of sales professionals based in Prague, helping to grow our business in European markets.

The focus of the role is on leading our inside sales functions and growing out a team to help small & mid-sized businesses across EMEA to become customers of productboard. You will grow and lead a team of 8-10 sales professionals initially who are primarily selling to companies smaller than 500 employees and also 2-3 business development representatives who are generating leads from mid-market and large enterprise accounts. Primary responsibilities are deal strategy, hiring and coaching a growing team.

Abour your responsibilities:

  • Lead our velocity sales & SDR team in EMEA
  • Be a key member of the sales leadership team
  • Mentor and scale our existing team in Prague
  • Help the team on deal strategy and provide regular sales coaching, 
  • Hire and onboard new members of your team to cover additional markets
  • Maintain and improve existing practices, processes and tools
  • Collaborate across the organization, including Marketing and Product Management

Who we are looking for:

Must Have's

  • 7+ years of software/SaaS sales experience
  • Strong consultative selling experience
  • Willingness to roll-up sleeves as a player-coach and help in sales cycles
  • Experience leading sales development, inside, or outside sales teams
  • Track record of setting and delivering on sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, build and lead sales teams
  • Metrics-driven approach to sales management

Nice to have's

  • Experience adding a sales-assisted motion onto an existing self-service SaaS go-to-market
  • Experience selling into Product Managers
  • Experience overseeing Customer Success execution
  • Strong sales operational rigor and familiarity with modern sales technology
