Expedia Group are hiring a HR Coordinator to be based in our Prague office. You’d join our centralised EMEA HR operational team. You’d also be responsible for providing first-line customer support and performing a variety of HR administrative activities remotely for our multiple markets in EMEA. You will support the local HR teams in providing customer-focused comprehensive HR advice and support to employees consistent with HR policies, procedures and legal requirements.

You will be an active member of the EMEA HR Operations team and participate in team projects and HR activities for the overall region.

This is a varied and diverse role and is ideal for someone who is dynamic, ambitious, hard-working and passionate about HR. You'll have excellent organisation and communication skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

What you’ll do:

o   Provide 1st line support for all HR related employee queries

o   Manage the onboarding and exit processes for various European offices

o   Prepare employment documents and process employment status changes (e.g. contracts of employment, domestic and international transfers, letters to confirm changes of terms, employment verifications, terminations)

o   Maintain and update employee folders and corresponding HR records management systems

o   Manage the tracking of time & attendance

o   Coordinate the administration of local benefits

o   Support the processing of payroll, ensuring all employee changes are communicated accurately and within the required timelines

o   Support development and creation of internal HR policies according to changes in legislation and global company standards

o   Create and maintain standard operating procedures/user guides to enhance operational efficiency

o   Provide ongoing support with project work and monitoring metrics regarding HR administrative volume and service levels


Who you are:

You’ll fit this role if you have:

Professional experience and Training:

o   Experience gained in a fast-paced, dynamic and international environment; previous HR experience is desirable

o   Understanding of basic HR processes (e.g. onboarding) and a passion to work and develop a career in HR

o   Fluency in  French in addition to English 

o   Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

o   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high customer-orientation and the ability to build relationships at all levels

o   A can-do attitude, dedication and professionalism and an independent work style with a bias toward action

o   An analytical mindset, data driven approach to making decisions and the ability to simplify

o   Good working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel; prior experience with a Content Management System is a plus
