Extra Time Manager – Kamýk Campus


We are currently seeking to appoint a new Extra Time Manager, based at our Kamýk campus in Prague 4.


The manager will be primarily responsible for the daily operation of our after school childminding service, that is available for primary school aged children from 4 – 11 years, and runs every school day from 3pm – 6pm.


All children attending Extra Time receive a snack, and have the opportunity to complete homework, read, play outside, complete a selection of structured activities or simply relax.


The working hours are 14:00 – 18:00 every school day, with one hour allocated for administration and preparation, and three hours allocated for the direct supervision of the children attending Extra Time.


This role is part-time (20 hours per week), although we are also seeking an Administrative Assistant (20 hours per week) to support the extra-curricular department, and there could be the possibility to combine both roles into a full-time position, for the right candidate.

 

Main responsibilities:


·        Coordinate, manage and lead the Extra Time after school child care provision on Kamýk campus

·        Ensure the provision is of the highest quality; providing a safe, stimulating and caring child-centred environment, catering for all of the children’s needs.

·        Train and lead a team of assistants in delivering the highest standards of child care and ensuring that all obligations are fulfilled.

·        Create a dynamic, fun filled, creative programme for children, that adapts to children’s needs.

·        Manage bookings for the service and communicate professionally with parents and school staff.

·        Liaise with parents to ensure high levels of participation, engagement and customer satisfaction.

·        Provide administrative support to the Extra Time department, to facilitate extra-curricular activity enrolment across all PBIS campuses, including data entry, and communication with suppliers and parents.


We require:

 

·        Fluency in English both spoken and written (essential).

·        Demonstrable experience of working with children.

·        High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn and interact with numerous programmes and databases accurately.
