Techloop.io is a venture-funded start-up headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic. We are an online marketplace connecting hiring companies with talented IT professionals. Unlike traditional recruitment channels, we put the control in the hands of the candidates - we offer them anonymity, up-front salary and information on the project, insights into company culture and even a hiring bonus. We have plans to grow in the next two years and aim to disrupt the IT recruitment market in CEE and beyond.

To support our plans for expansion we plan to create and deliver engaging events on a regular basis for both the IT and HR communities both in the Czech Republic and in our international markets.

To oversee the day to day management of this initiative we have an immediate need for an Events Manager to join our Prague based team.

Key duties:

Managing projects from proposal to delivery.
Delivering events on time, within budget and that meet our high expectations!
Ensuring our events are consistently aligned to our brand values.
Setting and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
Working closely with our Marketing and Senior Management teams.
Liaising with and briefing our remote management teams.
Managing supplier relationships.
Conducting on-site inspections and providing ‘hands-on’ management of individual events.

Requirements/experience needed:

Around 2-3 years’ experience in Event Management.
Advanced English.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with standard MS office and presentation applications.
Experience of working in a multi-culture environments is preferred.
General knowledge of the IT sector is useful.
Creativity and drive are highly regarded skills at Techloop!
