Description:

The EDI Specialist will be responsible for managing a number of EDI related tasks and activities as related to the EDI processes and reporting to EDI Supervisor EMEA.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Support for new file setups, as well as updates and changes to files currently in production
  • Support with EDI teams for the complete file setup and management life cycle
  • Participate in efforts to ensure data integrity in the CBC Enrollment systems to ensure accurate data is exchanged between all parties
  • Participate in efforts to remediate any data discrepancies received from third parties resulting from data exchanges
  • Manage the daily and weekly file generation and transfer process
  • Manage the processes facilitating account structure changes or updates as required


Required Skills and Abilities:

Must haves: 

  • BizTalk technical and development experience
  • erform testing and provide training and guidance to end users and customers
  • Develop and execute EDI implementation guidelines and specifications
  • Write functional , technical and data specifications and documentation
  • Manage EDI specific master data and cross references
  • Monitor EDI transactions ensuring they are processed on time and accurately
  • Ability to trouble shoot and fix failed EDI transactions and technical support/issue resolution
  • Integration experience with ERP systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology discipline preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a technical role supporting EDI
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to gather requirements and create specifications for disparate programming teams
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives


Nice/Good to have

  • Integration experience with MS NAV and knowledge of relevant integration points, relevant master data and business processes
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge especially in the OTC and Supply Chain areas including ability to navigate throughout ERP system, data dictionary and related table structures
  • SAP integration experience a plus
