You will work with the Compensation & Benefits Manager and internal stakeholders to facilitate innovative total rewards that align with RFE/RL's strategies and support its objectives globally.

In this role you will:

  •  research compensation and benefits practices in over 20 countries and serve as an expert in that area
  • analyze the labor markets and the salaries internally to assess the competitiveness and the internal equity 
  • develop and maintain salary structures for the countries and run salary reviews
  • support year-end reporting and analysis requirements of bonus and merit expenditure
  • assist in monitoring regulatory updates and checks such as minimum wage changes, etc. 
  • aid in the review of job descriptions and the provision of market data benchmarking upon request
  • coordinate the job evaluation process while maintaining the structure and company job matrix across the globe together with job evaluation guidelines
  • participate in compensation special projects including but not limited to salary structure review, report preparation, communications and/or presentation
  • work closely with the rest of the Compensation & Benefits team and payroll units to help with analyses, audits, and reconciliations, and
  • be responsible for HR Division statistics, in general.

You need to have mathematical aptitude, and strong analytical, design, planning, project management and coordination skills, with sound MS Excel and data skills to be able to work with large volumes of employee compensation data. You will ideally have the knowledge of best practices in compensation and job evaluation, and if you know how payroll and taxes work, it will be a real plus. Fluency in English and Czech are a must.
