ICON is looking for a reliable and self-motivated business developer to help support the expansion of its client’s suite of cutting-edge Virtual Reality training products and services across Europe. The client’s VR products combine game theory with immersive learning experiences. Their products create unique training programs that are efficient and deliver long-lasting educational benefits.


The successful candidate will help Virtual Reality (VR) take a revolutionary step outside the video gaming arena and into the corporate training and development space. The role requires a high level of independent work to meet lead targets that are aligned with the client’s growth strategy. This is a new team and includes the opportunity to provide valuable input into the direction the growth will take. Upon the successful conclusion of an initial 3-month development period, there is the strong possibility of an extended contract and the opportunity to take on a more senior role.


Main Responsibilities


  • Find prospective customers via cold outreach to corporate training providers across Europe.
  • Secure appointments for VR product demonstrations via telephone and email.
  • Create a great first impression to prospective customers by providing them with a meaningful experience and overview of Jenson8’s product and service offering.
  • Take a consultative approach, through several specific touchpoints, with each prospect. This will typically utilise the BANT qualification criteria.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of all things about Jenson8 to educate potential clients on the value of its products and ROI.
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative and compelling follow-ups.
  • Desktop research to grow and optimise a pipeline and database of prospects.
  • Daily and weekly direct communication with the client.
  • Develop and compile regular reporting of production, performance, pipeline status and results.
  • Establish a consistent communication strategy for Jenson8’s business proposition to stimulate market demand and brand awareness within the European market.


Your Profile


  • Native English speaker.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in sales, lead generation, account management, or a similar client-facing function.
  • Have a passion for new technology and can quickly understand and apply its benefits.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Prior experience in the start-up industry is preferred.
  • High attention to detail, with a process and solution-oriented mindset

  • Full-time employment (12-month contract with no probationary period)
