Our client – an international company with SSC based in Prague – is searching for AP/AR Accountant with English language. We are looking for both junior and experienced candidates.

Your new role 

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality book keeping of goods movements and inventory, as well as associated costs and all invoicing aspects, control conformity of data input by operations/trading against documents ensuring that all accounting entries are duly supported. Key activities are entering data in the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner in order to create orders, good movements and cost accruals with correct allocation to relevant deals, outgoing invoices issuance and booking, posting of incoming invoices of physical goods and services, ensuring compliance with EU VAT of all documents received/posted, assisting with the Monthly Closure for trade accounting.

What you'll need to succeed 

The right candidate has excellent command of written and spoken English, University degree in Accounting/Finance, computer skills – MS Word, Excel (on a higher level), good interpersonal skills (teamwork, communication skills), sense of urgency, accuracy, number oriented, good organization skills and ability to handle stressful situations. Previous work experience in any of the following fields is an advantage: Finance, International VAT application, International logistics, Oil industry. Knowledge of Russian language is an advantage. Previous experience with SAP would be considered as an advantage as well. EU work permit needed.
