Crown Worldwide Group currently has an opening for an Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting support team servicing Europe, the Middle East, and Africa from our dynamic and growing Prague site. If you have experience working in Accounting (G/L, Accruals, General Accounting support), good organisational & computer skills, and English language experience then we'd like to hear from you. Candidates will ideally have prior experience supporting customers throughout parts of Europe. Position Statement

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accountant I has broad exposure to the full cycle of accounting. This position has to provide support and assistance for Billing, Cash Application, and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable activities. The Accountant I assists with month and year end closing including working with outside CPA firm on year end activity. The Accountant I has to perform monthly Bank Account Reconciliations and maintain the general ledger via journal entry, account analysis and general review on an ongoing basis.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities


·        General Ledger Reconciliations & preparation of schedules for Prepayments, General Accruals, etc.

·        Bank Reconciliation – balance daily cash.

·        Intercompany Reporting and Analysis.

·        Assist in Month-end close.

·        Fixed Asset Register.

·        Depreciation Schedules.

·        Property Tax Preparation.

·        Monitor State Registration and Filing Requirements (business and vehicles).

·        Assist in preparation of Year-End packages and Audit/Tax.

·        Schedules – to defer Storage Revenue.

·        Cash planning.

·        Foreign currency wires.

·        Contra Payments.


Client Services

·        Correspond with clients and vendors on a timely basis on issues relating to accounting, receipts and payments.

Corporate Social Responsibility & Other


·                    Support the Company’s CSR commitment and goals. Perform duties as assigned by the Manager.

·        Ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality and display tact and discretion at all times.

·        Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.

Professional Knowledge and Skills

·        Ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders

·        Proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher and Accounting & Reporting softwares.



·        3 years or above experience in accounting area.

·        A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business with emphasis in accounting, is required.

·        Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
