About the role:

You will be working closely with our Senior Producer and Production Manager to ensure both product and social media projects are delivered in a timely manner. We are looking for someone confident and professional, with the ability to build strong internal relationships.

The A/V Communications Specialist will be filming with professional presenters in the studios, as well as working on the visualisation and selection of content to illustrate scripts.

You will manage and create social media campaigns for one of our brands, making videos during events and taking photos for our marketing content.

Working hours: Mainly standard working hours with the exception of some events or special projects where some weekend work might be required.

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Taking photos with DSLR cameras.
Digital campaigns creation on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn).
Demonstrate the ability ingest, convert and prepare files for outsourcing.
Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
Video codec and compression techniques.
Gatekeep the kit inventory room, ensuring in-house and rental kit is returned unscathed.
Daily use of our project management tools (Basecamp and Dapulse)
Undertake basic logistical research for Senior Producer and Production Manager.
Use strong analytical, organisational and problem solving skills.
Able to take / understand constructive analysis of work.
Enthusiasm and a desire to develop your skills.
Willingness to work from Monday to Friday. 12-9pm shift 2 weeks per month.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential

Qualifications/Education:

Educated to degree level in media, film, communications or related course.
Must be a self-starter, extremely organised.
Ability to multi-task and simultaneously complete multiple projects
Applies established creative and production skills to identifying and evaluating alternatives.
Great client relations management
Working knowledge of health and safety issues

Knowledge/Skills:
Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
Basic knowledge of digital campaigns creation on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn).
Comfortable taking photos with DSLR cameras,
Basic Knowledge of video codec and compression techniques.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Fluent English.
Experience:

One or two years of experience taking photos.
Comfortable creating marketing campaigns on social media.
One year of experience filming in the studios with professional presenters.
Desirable

Knowledge/Skills:

Basic working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
Set-up and pull down live studios for video streaming.
Livestream knowledge would be a must but not essential.
Basic graphic design skills
Experience:

One year experience editing professional content, using Adobe Premiere.
One year experience using Adobe After Effects.
