Are you passionate about ensuring smooth payroll operations and compliance in a dynamic international environment? Our client, a global leader in healthcare and innovation, is looking for an Associate Payroll Specialist to join their team supporting the EMEA region.
What You'll Do
Deliver end-to-end, timely, and accurate payroll for multiple assigned countries and entities in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Input data into databases and spreadsheets while monitoring personnel and salary changes.
Process expats and commuters in coordination with Global Mobility and external providers.
Manage payroll controls for SOX compliance and other audits.
Compile necessary approvals for bank payments and ensure timely account reconciliations.
Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Respond to internal and external inquiries related to payroll, social insurance, and taxation.
Standardize and optimize payroll and benefits administration processes, leveraging best practices.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence, and EMEA HR Service Delivery teams.
Onboard new hires and participate in training programs and initiatives.
Generate accurate payroll reports, including tax and earnings statements, and distribute them to stakeholders.
What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in a multinational business environment, with focus on Switzerland Payroll for multiple entities. Experience in HR is a plus
Familiarity with outsourced payroll providers (e.g., ADP, Celergo) and HR systems like Workday or SAP.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills with fluency in English and atleast B1 German.
A proactive approach, personal integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to work in (international) teams and collaborate / partner effectively at all levels across the organization.
