Frontend Developer - Remote

ICON’s parent company, yoummday are on the lookout for a new Frontend Developer. Your role will be to work as part of a cross-functional team and ensure the continuous improvement of the user experience of our new products where you’ll use your skills to develop user-friendly applications.

Main Responsibilities

• You set new impulses for the functional and technical enhancement of existing web applications

• Support the permanent development of the tech department

• You are a motivated professional

• Provide feedback on user stories, have high-quality standards, and accompany the entire process from the development of the concept to its testing and release.

Your Profile

• You have a university degree or comparable knowledge, with 3 years of work experience as a frontend developer

• Fluent in the English language both verbal and written

• German language skills are advantageous

• You reside within the EU

• You have experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular or similar), web APIs as well as new ECMA script versions

• Experience with REST APIs, Git/Github, CSS preprocessors and Bootstrap are beneficial

• You are passionate about the development of applications with excellent user experience and put emphasis on a “clean code” when implementing your ideas

• You are an absolute team player and know how to work successfully in a cross-functional team

• You act in a solution-oriented manner, think both responsibly and pragmatically at the same time, and enjoy taking on challenges
