About the Artist

I'm Simon Slon, an independent music artist based in Prague, creating emotionally rich alternative/art rock songs with a strong visual identity. I collaborate with professional musicians, producers, and studios, and plan to release 6–8 singles per year — each supported by cinematic and creative content. The project is focused on building a long-term career with an international audience, particularly in the US and UK.

I’m looking for a versatile assistant to join my independent music project long-term in a full-time role, starting with a 2-month paid part-time trial. You’ll be working closely with me across content creation, project organization, and communication.

What You’ll Do

• Manage social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.):

  • Schedule and post content

  • Monitor channels and trends

  • Reply to comments and messages with tact and consistency

  • Help shape and grow the artist’s online presence

• Assist during filming sessions for short-form, creative, or behind-the-scenes content

  • You’ll be helping to capture rehearsals, studio moments, vocal sessions, or abstract visual ideas

  • You should be comfortable operating a camera, setting up basic lighting, and capturing clear audio with mics

  • You don’t need to be a pro, but a basic to moderate understanding of camera/light/mic work is expected

• Organize and manage media: upload footage/audio, label files, and deliver materials to a remote editor

• Coordinate with studios, session musicians, and contractors (scheduling, bookings, communication)

• Maintain timelines, calendars, and task lists

• Take care of the rehearsal space, instruments, and gear

• Optionally help manage promotional campaigns (under the guidance of a marketing agency) if you're comfortable with that task

Who You Are

• Based in Prague, with availability for in-person work

• Comfortable with basic filming (phone or camera), with creativity and a sense of aesthetics

• You have a basic to moderate understanding of camera setup, lighting, and microphones

• Experienced with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.

• Reliable, well-organized, and communicative

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Czech is a bonus, especially for coordinating with local vendors

• Bonus: Familiar with Logic Pro or music production workflows

Remuneration

• The role begins with a 2-month paid part-time trial, approximately 20 hours/week

  • During this period:

    300–450 CZK/hour or 20,000–30,000 CZK/month

• After the trial, the position is expected to become a full-time role (~40 hours/week)

  • Full-time compensation will reflect your experience and responsibilities:

    35,000–50,000 CZK/month, with room for growth based on performance
