Exhibitions

Rosenberg Palace, former Institute of Noblewomen, has been opened since April 2007. Visitors got the opportunity to see a unique Chapel of the Holy Trinity and the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary. Its monumentality and great frescoes hardly are one of the kind in Prague. Just so great visitors can see a restored Renaissance Rosenberg hall.

Part of the space is arranged as a apartment for inmates at Institute of Noblemen, that was founded by Empress Maria Theresa. Inmates dwelt there until 1918. The exhibition, which aims to evoke the life of an unmarried noblewoman in the first half of the 19th century, is composed of sixty subjects of depositories; style in terms of popular Biedermeier and Rococo second. Besides the furniture, visitors will see the stove, stationery, lamps, candlesticks, glass, porcelain, or hours.

Admission to the Rosenberg Palace will be included in the current guided tours.
