I have been going to Curry House ever since it opened. I have always had a great experience and the food never let me down. I love the version of Butter Chicken prepared at the restaurant, simply the best! I will look forward to my next visit.
The waiter deliberately short changed me by 200 Kc. When I pointed it out he didn't bat an eyelid and just gave it to me. Clearly this is common practice at Curry House.
Curry house, Prague is one of the best restaurants I have ever been. The food quality, taste, service of the restaurant, a wide diversity of menu, cordial reception, warmth hospitality, atmosphere inside make it an ideal place to visit again and again.
The food knowledge of the stuff and their attentiveness is quite remarkable. To visit this restaurant is like a pleasant travel towards the elegant taste of Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine. The...

The only place in Prague to get all our Indian food varieties with same taste, even south Indian curries also available....
Don't miss when you are in Prague...
they seem to decide themselves how much client is going to tip. If your bill is 620CZK and you pay with 1000CZK note you'll get back 300CZK. Not really a big issue cause I'd tip anyway if everything is OK.. but it's still the client that decides how much the tip is.
I have regularly visited Curry House for about two years now. I love their chicken Jalfrezi. It's always hot, spicy and fragrant, with the just right ratio of meat to peppers. Not that their other dishes are not good -- they are (try their Madras, or try Rezela for something new) but I really like the Jalfrezi.
One problem with ethnic restaurants in Prague is after some time they often start skimping on ingredients and the dishes become...

I am usually not one to actively search for an Indian restaurant, but happened across this one and liked their look. The service was great and the food also.very satisfying meal at a reasonable price too.
The day we visited the Curry House it wasn't nice weather and it was starting to rain. At first, I had asked for a hot beverage and I got an Indian tea, which was really what I needed at the moment. The food was great – butter chicken with rice and lamb with Indian bread too – adequately spicy, juicy meat and delicious sauce. I liked the long grain rice, and the bread was well backed and crispy. A sweet-smelling restaurant with nice staff was...

Chicken Rezela. Excellent dish. Something very special and extraordinary!! Lovely friendly service as well.
If you want to try really good indian food, this is your restaurant. I had dal tarka, chapati and masala chai (the best I ever had) and it was really really good. The restaurant is not in the center (Palmovka, not far from the synagogue), but it is worthy to visit it.
Food is tasty and resonable price. I heard that every food is made fresh (good quality) for each customer, not in advance. I was happy with this good food and friendly staff.
This is by far the best Indian restaurent that comes close to being authentic. Love the chicken jalfraise.. spicey and delicious... I saw a review claiming its not hygenic and the beer tastes watery.. From personal experience, I say its all rubbish because I am regular there.. The beer tastes absolutely fine and refreshing and never had any stomach problems... Curry House never dissappoints me.
Food and service is great and very consistent. Beer on the tap is bitter-ish and taste watered-down. More important, I don't think it's very hygienic. Had stomach troubles the last few times I went there. Also quantity of serving has reduced. All in all, given the bad beer and hygiene issues, don't think I'll be going back to Curry House.

Being from the UK, the home of Indian cuisine (work that one out!) I do know a good curry when I taste one. This was up there close to the best I've had in the North of England. Extremely tasty. We have the Butter Chicken and Ghost Palak (lamb saag) every time - delish. Only complaint - one Saturday they coudn't deliver because they were too busy. Only tried dining in once - pleasant but lacks a bit of atmosphere.
This is a real little gem, located well off the beaten track, yet easily accessible.
The food is delicious, authentic and good value; service is quick, though friendly. Overall, great food and a very relaxed vibe. Particularly recommended is the vegetarian feast for 2 - but make sure you go there hungry!
