Wednesday, May 24, marked the European Day of Parks. The day commemorates protected areas across Europe. For visitors, the Czech Republic's stunning historic architecture is renowned but locals equally treasure its parks for year round hiking, biking, sunning, and socializing. Prague may be known as the city of a hundred spires but with its park count an estimated 200, it's no surprise it outranked Moscow and London as the city with the best parks in a recent index.

Put your knowledge of the Czech capital’s green spaces to the test with our weekly quiz devoted to Prague parks (in a future edition, we’ll challenge how well you know Czechia’s dense network of national parks – stay tuned)!
