If you’re looking for a fresh way to update your wardrobe this spring – one that’s kinder to your wallet and the planet – you won’t want to miss the Westfield Good Festival.
Back for another year, this popular festival, running May 15 to 18, connects fashion, creativity, and a responsible approach to shopping. The four-day program includes activities for all style lovers, creative upcycling, and sustainability.
Whether you’re a fan of vintage clothing, want to support eco-friendly fashion, or just love discovering unique pieces with interesting backstories, the Westfield Good Festival offers plenty of reasons to visit Prague’s largest shopping center.
Legendary vintage store takes center stage
At the center of the action is a pop-up from Secondhand 1981, one of Prague’s most beloved thrift stores known for its curated selection of vintage and retro fashion. The retailer will offer everything from statement jackets to classic denim.
Klára Vytisková is adding a bit of star power to the four-day festival. The Czech singer, who will open the festival at the VIP evening on May 14, is teaming up with Secondhand 1981 to create three exclusive upcycled outfits. These one-of-a-kind pieces will be up for grabs in a social media competition. On the market's final day, winners can pick up their new clothes and meet Vytisková.
Bloges Market: Influencer fashion trends
The popular Bloges Market, created by fashion personality Nikol Moravcová, is returning this year. The unique pop-up, open from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. each day of the festival, features wardrobes clean-outs from well-known influencers and celebrities like Aneta Vignerová, Natalie Kotková, BeHa, and sustainable fashion designer Jana On the Boat, giving visitors the chance to buy pre-loved clothing straight from their closets.
It’s not only a fun way to shop, but also a chance to support a good cause – proceeds from the market go to the Veronika Kašáková Foundation, which helps young people coming out of the foster care system.
Creative upcycling workshops
The Westfield Good Festival isn’t just about hunting for vintage treasures – it’s about making. Numerous upcycling and DIY fashion workshops are scheduled throughout the festival’s run. If you’ve ever wanted to try Japanese sashiko embroidery, decorate reclaimed porcelain, or turn old fabric into accessories, this is your chance.
You can also win a spot at an exclusive workshop hosted by Secondhand 1981 on May 15 and 17, where you’ll learn how to repurpose your tired clothing into something new. Workshops are limited to 10 people per session and open to Westfield Club members only. You can register for free through the app.
Beyond fashion: vintage furniture, knitted goods, and sustainable eats
The Westfield Good Festival also highlights ways to live sustainably with pop-ups dedicated to craftsmanship, nostalgia, and community. At the Superantik pop-up, you’ll find vintage furniture and retro home decor, while the Elpida organization will feature handmade knitted goods created by older artisans, showing that traditional craftsmanship still has its place in the modern world.
Even the food and drink options reflect the festival’s eco-conscious approach. Don’t miss ordering kimchi from Něco jako, which is made using leftover water from Živina’s kimchi fermentation process, proving that sustainability can be a tasty treat, too.
End your festival journey with a stop at the photo corner, where you can memorialize your favorite festival look.
More than just another shopping event, the Westfield Good Festival is a chance to rethink your relationship with fashion. You’ll find authentic style, genuine stories, and the inspiration that will stick with you long after you return home.
