Jacques | | | | | I'm not Chinese myself, I am Norwegian, but I have two good Chinese friends who run a Chinese restaurant. As I said in another thread they are holding opera nights roughly once a month, including tomorrow 14.1. It is easy to get there, look up "Čáslavská 5" in mapy.cz or Google Maps, it is quite next to Flora station (or also Orionka if you go by tram).
One of the two, Patty, is also a singer and you could try to chat with her in Chinese and we could join for a beer or something. If tomorrow doesn't work, you could try visiting on the Chinese Festival January 26, or any other night in between (though I might not be there then).
Jonny | | | | | | I have let this idea mature a little bit, and I think it is a good idea to have a regular Chinese conversational group. There are some other people I know of as well who want to learn or improve their Chinese.
So from next Sunday, February 8, I'd like to start a conversational group at Dobrý den from 19 hours onwards. It will start small and with mixed skills, comprising learners, absolute beginners like me, and native speakers. Later we could stratify that with e.g. the novice table and the advanced table.
