You will find Laura's Wine Bar (U Laury) on the "Royal way" between two of Prague's most famous historical monunemts - Charles bridge and Prague Castle. It was built in early 1993 by Jitka and Josef Skokan on two floors of gothic cellars. The foundations of the house were laid in the 14th century. Celebrated artists have lived there in the past, including the baroque painter Bartolomej Spranger, who purchased the house in 1593. Laura's Wine Bar will enchant you the moment you enter into the typical Mala Strana courtyyard with its restored stuco decorations. In the heat of the summer you may sit there in the cooling shade.
