The ancient wine cellar bearing the name "U Mecenáše" (The Philanthrophits") you can find in the house "U Zlatého lva" (Golden Lion") which was builtin the late 1500s.

 

The house was rebuilt in 1608 (its first floor and fasade), and it is one of few houses in Malá Strana ("Lesser Town") which have conserved their original look.
