The history of the cultivation of vines in the area of Velké Pavlovice, in the countryside below the Pálava dates from the year 276AD, when it was planted in this area by a Roman legion from the 10th Roman Outpost, falling under the famous Vindebona Legion and Legio Decima Gemina - Pia Fidelis. In the year 1322 the first guild of licensees in Europe was founded here, whose modern equivalent is the C.E.C.A.V.I. organisation (the Confederation Europe des Categories Auxiliares des Activities Viti - Vinicoles). The tradition of the production of Kosher wine was established here at the start of Spring 1574, and its whose certification was verified by none other than the famous rabbi and philosopher, creator of the legendary Golem, Chief Rabbi of Mikulov and later Chief Rabbi of the Royal Town of Prague and Czech Kingdom - RABBI JEHUDA LÖW BEN BEZAZEL.
