Outstanding:
The main courses - great seafood incl. best cooked sea bass in Prague; the desserts - reason alone to go; the wine - Italian with a wide choice; the service - friendly and appropriately attentive; the décor - even a stone washbasin in the toilets.
Requires improvements:
The noise, as the attractive rustic décor has no deadening effect.
Overall: go there, see it, taste the food, enjoy the wine and have a truly memorable evening.
It's about perfect.

- "Tasty and Friendly"

I like this type of restaurant. The focus is on simplicity. Very simple food, extremely well prepared. Very simple furniture, very well thought out.
No pretentious nonsense here. Just great flavours, friendly service, and a relaxing evening.
On to the food: the menu looked interesting, but there were many enticing specials on offer. I went for scampi as a starter (great - but a tiny portion), and miniature mussels with linguine. Both were very simple, and absolutely delicious. I used the rather yummy fresh bread mopped up any remnants of sauce.
My wife had some very strange sea monster to start (they looked like the creatures from Alien) - still, very tasty all the same. Followed by Hare in a thick black sauce. It was good, but seemed out of place in a predominantly seafood restaurant.
For puddings, I went for chocolate fondant (highly recommended) and my wife ordered something apparently forgettable, since I have forgotten what it was.
Turning to drinks. There appears to only be one type of water available - and it is a slightly excessive (imho) 100kc per bottle. The wine list was good - but limited to Italian wines - which was a pity. Still, there were some good choices in there. We chose a very unusual Pino Grigio - which was a surprising honey/amber colour - and a little sweeter than I would have expected. Still, a solid wine all the same. It was around 800kc, which seemed fair.
The restaurant was empty when we arrived at 8pm, but full by 9pm. Happily, one one couple (actually a trio) were loud-mouthed Americans. Other tables had a four french folks (who were very hearty!), four spanish, four english, and others to distant to converse with. A good mix all around (contrasted this, with, say Aromi - which attracts too many loud -mouthed bone-heads of a consistent transatlantic nationality for my liking.
In terms of quality, I rate the food around the same level as Aromi, but below Angel and La Degustation.
Total price for two, just under 3,000kc plus tip.
