Indian food prepared and served by the Hare Krishnas of Prague

Devotees have opened three restaurants as far - two Govindas and the Balarama restaurant. The bigger of the two Govindas has two floors - a restaurant and the cultural center with an exclusive Indian shop. The restaurant is a "vegetarian club" that serves one selection per day - which inlcudes a soup, a salad, a "sabzi" or vegetarian dish consisting of rice and sauce of the day, a dessert and unlimited table water for under a 100 krones. You simply wait in line, choose the small (malá porce) or the large (velká) portion and pay accordingly. There are other Indian side dishes on hand, like pakoras and koftas, fresh carrot juice and lassis.
