Psychological counseling / psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families that have relocated to Prague.    

Camilla Dessing, Lic, MScPsych, is a registered and fully qualified psychologist in private practice located in Prague 2. Ms Dessing is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), and has many years of successful experience with personal issues including depression, anxiety (excessive nervousness), relationship issues, panic disorder, social phobia, grief, addiction, sexual abuse, self-esteem issues (lack of confidence), postpartum depression, psychological assessments for schools and courts, and concerns related to relocation and re-entry (returning to home country) with both adults and children. Besides the use of traditional talking therapy, techniques employed may include cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, relaxation exercises, meditation, and art therapy if desired and relevant. Ms Dessing is, in addition, a certified meditation teacher and health, nutrition and exercise consultant and can in combination with psychological counseling provide nutritional and exercise advice or meditation training if desired.

Opening hours:
Mondays and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fees 2012:
Individual session (50 min): 1200 CZK.
Student fee (50 min): 1000 CZK.
Couple's therapy (60 min): 1500 CZK.
Intensive couple's therapy (90 minutes): 2000 CZK.

Sessions take place within a comfortable and discreet setting.

Languages spoken: English, Spanish or Danish.
