I graduated from the March-April 2012 course, and choosing TEFL Worldwide Prague was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I looked at many TEFL courses while making my decision, and every time I contacted TEFL Worldwide, I received prompt, detailed, and courteous feedback. The course was intensive and rewarding, and the staff and teacher trainers are well-qualified and very helpful. The location of the school is fantastic - a bit out of the city center, but not too far away from Old Town. The housing is inexpensive, clean, and located near the school. Both the housing and the school are located near the Vysocanska metro and bus stops, as well as a mall with a grocery store, pharmacy, and many other stores. If you are at all interested in getting your TEFL certification in Prague, choose TEFL Worldwide!!

After completing the TEFL course at TEFL Worldwide (March-April 2012) I am extremely happy with my decision to take the course here. It was definitely not stress-free but it was fun, challenging and worth every penny.

I chose TEFL Worldwide because it was clear that their students kept in touch with the school and many were available to contact via email and Facebook. Being able to contact past students made the choice much easier.

The staff at the school is amazing. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful and will not hesitate to offer assistance (even beyond course-related issues). The teacher trainers are incredible - they obviously enjoy what they do and they do a great job.

The accommodations are nice and are close to the school and are reasonably priced. The school's location at Vysočanská is nice - not in a touristy area, but not off the beaten path. The metro/bus/tram station is so close that all of Prague is a short ride away.

I highly recommend TEFL Worldwide to anyone planning on getting their TEFL certification - you wont regret it.

I have recently completed the TEFL course at TEFL Worldwide Prague. It is an intense course – I learnt in one month more than I learnt at University when I studied to become a teacher. The most important thing I learnt is how to determine students to use the words they know in their own sentences. For those who are teaching English as a second language in their own country I am sure you understand how important this is and for the others, who want to become teachers, this is a must that you should be aware of.
I have heard so many times that grammar can be fun but it was something to trick students for 5-10 minutes. After the course, I consider that grammar can be definitely enjoyable. The teacher makes the difference! I feel rich as an English teacher and I feel this thanks to the excellent tutors I had the chance to know at TEFL Worldwide Prague, Dan and Kenny.
Why Prague? Because being in a country which language you don’t know will make you feel like a student; so, before planning your lessons remember how useful/vital were other things when you tried to understand a new language.

TEFL Worldwide Prague is an excellent TEFL school and I highly, highly recommend it. The quality of instruction was fantastic - I learned more than I ever thought possible about the English language in four weeks, and I'm still using the skills I developed now that I'm back in the States. I left the course with all the training, experience and resources necessary to start working just a couple weeks after graduation. The course simulates real lessons, and you get tons of teaching practice with real students, which is a huge benefit. The staff is also awesome and willing to help out with anything, even long after you've graduated. I have nothing but positive things to say about the TEFL Worldwide experience!

Getting a TEFL certificate opens the door for lots of job opportunities around the world. I am so happy that I made the choice to get my TEFL certificate at TEFL Worldwide Prague. It was a very intense 4 weeks, but the techniques I learned have proven to be very valuable. I think it's so great that we got hands on teaching experience as we earned our TEFL certificate. It made the transition into the "real world" all that much easier. And the staff is available for you any time, even after you graduate the program. TEFL Worldwide is a great resource to have. Prague is one of the greatest cities in the world, so being able to take this opportunity was such a wonderful decision. I would highly recommend the program at TEFL Worldwide to anyone.

TEFL Worldwide Prague was the best decision I could have made for myself. I took the course three years ago, and have been living and working in Prague ever since, and I have had the most amazing experiences here. All of which would not have been possible without TEFL Worldwide. The course prepared me incredibly well for a life of teaching, and the instructors were amazing, always making the course hands-on and fun. True, the course is extremely intense, but it needs to be to properly prepare you to teach in just a months time. I had never taught before taking this course, actually graduating with a degree that had nothing to do with education or English, but that was not a problem. With a lot of hard work, I was able to come out of the course with the confidence to teach the English language. The staff was also great, always willing to answer any question I had or help me with anything I needed. If you're looking for an amazing adventure abroad and the qualification to go and teach all over the globe, then you cannot go wrong with TEFL Worldwide!

I graduated from TEFL WW Prague in October of 2009. I still am amazed at how friendly and helpful the whole Prague staff is! It's been over two years since I've graduated, but they are always prepared and willing to send me current TEFL job openings as well as contacts from schools across the world. The certificate is internationally recognized and the course is designed to give you real, hands-on, classroom experience. Overall it was a very rewarding and challenging 4-week program. It efficiently prepared me for the often tough - but ALWAYS exciting! - world of teaching English as a foreign language.

TEFL Worlwide was a fantastic preparation for teaching English overseas. The staff was very helpful at communicating thoroughly with the students prior to our arrival in Prague and continued to be available and willing to help throughout the course. The teaching was top notch and I felt as if I had a very strong foundation and valuable resources to take with me to a future job. Being a native English speaker is very different from being able to teach English, and I feel like we were well taught in the fundamentals of teaching English to non-native speakers. The course is intense and requires a lot of work. However, it was highly effective in preparing me for my future job of teaching English. I would highly recommend TEFL Worldwide for anyone interested in equipping themselves to be a good English teacher.

I took an intensive 4-week TEFL course through TEFL Worldwide this past August. The course was led by two very knowledgeable and helpful instructors, and the office staff was very resourceful when it came to finding employment opportunities for me in Prague (and, from what I hear, throughout the world as well).

One thing I will say is that the intensive course was just that---extremely intensive. Don't expect to have much of a social life during the week, as you will spend a significant chunk of your spare time lesson planning. While this may not seem like an advantage at the time, honestly, it prepares you wonderfully for the life of an English teacher abroad.

In the end, I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff and the course at TEFL Worldwide Prague, and I would be more than happy to answer any questions potential students might have about the course through my Expats user account.

TEFL Worldwide Prague is an exceptional place to earn your TEFL degree for three main reasons--(1) easy transition into life in Prague, (2) quality of instructors and support staff, and (3) job placement.

From the outset, the TEFL staff quickly answered my questions through e-mail and even had an hour long phone conversation with me! Also, they had a cab ready at the airport when I needed to get to my temporary housing. Furthermore, they provide students with elementary Czech survival lessons, which really came in handy.

The quality of class instruction was superb. Dan and Terry led class the way they want to you teach it--demanding, yet really fun (the way it should be)! Hana, the librarian and support staff, helped me find all my materials and offered guidance about the course and Prague in general.

Finding a job in Prague was not very difficult, given a little effort. TEFL cannot promise you job placement but they do everything in their power to point you in the right direction. They have a lot of connections to different language schools. The TEFL Worldwide certificate is recognized by many in the Prague community as credible and meaningful when reviewing applicants. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in earning a TEFL certificate in an enchanting city!

I just want to say that this school literally changed my life! Before enrolling in TEFL Worldwide Prague, I researched many schools. TEFL Worldwide was the ONLY school to patiently answer all of my questions and to set my mind at ease. They were professional, courteous, communicative and caring through the entire process. It was so comforting to have a driver waiting for me at the Prague airport when I arrived. He drove me to the school where I was greeted by a TEFL Worldwide Prague staff member, who immediately brought me to my school provided flat. The Staff's dedication and sensitivity to the needs of the students were next to none. The course itself was challenging, fun and rewarding. You will learn to teach English as a foreign language by learning in a classroom setting in the mornings, taught by professional ESL teachers with many years experience. In the afternoons you will be able to use what you are learning by actually teaching classes at the school under the supervision of an experienced ESL teacher. What better way to learn?
It is now 2-years after I earned by TEFL Certification at TEFL Worldwide Prague and their Career Advisement (Job Placement) program has been unwavering! Kudos to TEFL Worldwide Prague with 2 thumbs up!

TEFL Worldwide Prague gave me the proper instruction and experience I need to feel comfortable teaching in any area of the world. The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. They offer constructive criticism, and I really could see my improvement after each lesson. The time I spent with real English students at every level was also invaluable. TEFL Worldwide Prague was a wonderful school to earn my TEFL certification. The school was intense and highly demanding at certain times, but at the end of the course I felt accomplished and prepared to teach worldwide. TEFL Worldwide Prague gave me the confidence to stand in front of a classroom and teach English. I strongly recommend this school to anyone seeking a TEFL certification.

It takes a leap of faith to move to the other side of the world to go to a school you found on the internet, but I am incredibly glad I did. The classroom education I received from instructors Dan and Terry over four weeks was invaluable towards skills needed for teaching English as a foreign language.

Prague is a beautiful city, but I admit you won't get to see much of it during the program. Being at TEFL Worldwide Prague is like being in university again, and many of us didn't step onto the metro from Sunday night to Friday night, as when you're not in school, you'll be lesson planning, writing essays, or studying grammar. Don't let this scare you; it is entirely to your benefit, and you'll be a better teacher for it. You will, however, get to use your Saturdays and Sundays to discover all the sights and restaurants.

About half of my class decided to stay in Prague to work after the course, and they were all able to land jobs within three weeks after the program. I just stuck around and traveled for a while, but when I started applying to jobs in other countries I received offers (after the interviews, of course) in a matter of days.

In summation, it is hard work, but if you want top-notch TEFL/TESOL training and are willing to put in the effort, then TEFL Worldwide Prague is the place for you.
