Standing at the crossroads (sometimes with Elmore James)
How do you live life? How do you approach the issues and decisions? Do you shoot first and ask questions later or are you more prone to thinking things over? Why do you want to come to Prague to become an English teacher? These are all questions you maybe ask yourself or maybe not. Yet a life that is not contemplated is a life that drifts with the currents of existence and eventually perishes. If you want to be the master of your fate and the captain of your soul you have to make a decision and step forth. You need to guide yourself. You have to reinvent yourself.
If you have the guts and the tenacity, in other words, if you are prepared, you need an opportunity. We grow through challenges. Our lives are swords and we are the smiths.
Wait? What? Yes, this is about Live TEFL. Live TEFL is your smithy. It is where you will go to reinvent yourself. It is an excellent smithy with master craftswomen and craftsmen who will bestow upon you the gifts and skills of teaching. They are all professionals with years of experience and a treasure trove of knowledge, theoretical as well as practical. They are demanding and at the same time very friendly. I have studied under several craftsmen before, but these guys blew them all out of the water.
When it comes to the whole Live TEFL smithy you needn't worry. The management will take care of almost everything, which will make your transition from ordinary life to a magical land full of English grammar and teaching methods quite magical and worry-free. They are helpful and willing to provide you with a good experience.
What is the end result of it all? Well, I now live in Prague, teach English, and am enjoying the new opportunities I have graced myself with.
If you want to start something new, if you are thirsting for something refreshing, come. Come to Prague. Do the Live TEFL Prague. You won't regret it. I certainly don't.
I'm glad I took this program!
I took this course in January 2014, and I'm really glad I did! The course was amazing - I learned everything I needed to know about teaching English from experience teachers who've been teaching for years.
One of my favorite thing about the program is that you get a lot of hands on experience teaching real students and one-on-one feedback sessions with the teachers. Without both of these things, I would not be nearly as prepared as I am now. Also, all of the teachers and staff are very helpful. If you ever have a question, don't be afraid to ask them because they'd be happy to help you out!
Another thing I really liked about the course is that they offer you an interview and/or job if you do well in the course. Currently, I am working at Spevacek with other teachers who took the course, and it's a great atmosphere to work in.
So, if you're searching for a great TEFL program with lots of knowledge, help, and experience, I highly recommend Live TEFL Prague. I also think it's worth noting that Prague is very beautiful, and has many opportunities for English teachers.
