A near hidden street opposite the namesti Trida metro is where you will find the Steakhouse. It is the kind of restaurant where you can have a simple meal without all the annoying fancy restaurant malarchy. My vote goes here.

I went there on Saturday lunch after a recommendation by a friend. They had no fillet steaks, which was not good for a "Steakhouse" and although the food was reasonable, it was served on VERY cold plates, so after 3-4 minutes everything was cold.
I was very disappointed. The place would have to change the presentation (how long does it take to heat a plate?) for me to pay another visit.

Having reviewed Jama The Hollow restaurant i should like to add a review of the Jama Steakhouse. Tonight i will be going here as it is the start of it's live music month. I attended their live music month in October last year and enjoyed myself thoroughly. I hope this month will live up to the memories i have from last time. The food and drink are very tasty. And most importantly at a very good price for me,i do not have too much money to spend on my wages. So i recommend it to the guys as a place to take a would-be new girlfriend for a romantic meal without having to break the bank.

Super steak. Super prices. This place I did enjoy. It is so hard to find a decent place in Prague for a steak made just the way I like it. Finally I have.

I've been a regular at the original Jama since i first holidayed in Prague in 1999 so i thought it would be worth trying the newer steakhouse Jama just down the road from Tesco. It was worth it. Steak and chips plus a Lobkowicz meant i had a full belly and still money left over. The original Jama will remain my more regular drinking establishment but i'm sure i will take any friends coming to visit for a steak at the steakhouse.
