"Terrible Breakfast and Awful Hospitality"
written by DownTown

I have had a few disappointing experinces in Prague with English Breakfasts. I like to treat myself to a nice breakfast, but so far they are mainly below standard. I went Shamrock Irish Pub and the breakfast was terrible. Not only that, but the customer service was very minimal. They employ Czech woman who hardly ever smile, takes her 'time' and brings out an awful breakfast. I was just not happy with it. I bought their jumbo size breakfast and i was still hungry after. Sausages were crap, and generally felt under-cooked or stale. Shamrock is Now known as Flannigans and they still keep the same staff with no concept of hospitality and customer service. The customer is the most important person and witout us, you have no business......Why do British pubs here employ mostly Czechs. They should have proper Brits or Irish. If you employ Czechs, then why don't they get some training on how to smile, how to be polite and how to be more welcoming.

Really, I think that they should offer me a free breakfast. If you are a Flannigans/Shamrock staff, then you should offer me some compensation. Otherwise it's pretty hard to even recommend you as decent.
