I went there the day after it opened, and the choice was sparse, to say the least, so it was a pretty frustrating experience.

Asked for Kaffir Lime Leaves, Hoi Sin sauce, Beansprouts, Beanshoots, and other stuff which I find it hard to find. No joy. Sort of wrote it off for a while.

Then, I went back to buy some Ciggies about three weeks later, and was simply stunned that they not only remembered me, but shuffled me into the back room and pointed out all the stuff I had asked for. It was all there, AND they had a load of other stuff that I would never have expected to find: Bok Choi, Galangal, about 15 brands of Soy Sauce including the sublime Pearl River Bridge brand (I used to live in Hong Kong, and this was my favourite brand), Lemon grass, Coriander, Chilli Pepper Oil, and lots more.

If you ask them, I'm pretty sure they can source anything you want. I asked if they had Sepia (Cuttlefish) and Mange Tout (Snow peas). They got them in three days.

It's a godsend. Now I can finally cook a decent stir-fry, a genuine seafood stir-fry with squid, cuttlefish, tiger prawns, octopus... and I'm in heaven, as is my girlfriend.

Go there. It's an Asian foodies Paradise.

AMAZING! I don't even know what half of the stuff is, but i always try something new when I'm there. And the staff, especially the woman who runs the place is so friendly and helpful, if i don't find what i'm looking for, she's always willing to see if she can get it. I was there 2 weeks ago to see if she had any soy milk and she was out, but the next time i went in there was a whole shelf stocked with many various kinds. I love her!!!!!

I've lived on Gorazdova for a long time, and the neighborhood overall has lacked convenient potraviny and specialty shops. So when this place opened, it blew my mind... Literally every ingredient, plus tools, to make sushi. All the spices, pastes, etc for Thai and Indian. Chinese sauces, fresh herbs. This place has peanut oil, fish sauce, all the hard to find stuff to really make authentic Asian food. Definitely go here, get lost in the back room, it's amazing...

Great selection ranging from galangal to frozen crabs to hoisin sauce, etc. They get fresh herbs deliveries on Tues and Saturdays. Great friendly service and fair prices. Go!

I didn't have much time to look around, but my brief visit to this little shop produced fresh coriander, which I've been aching for since arriving in Prague. The bag, with 5 good plants, complete with roots, cost me something like 24kc.

The herb fridge is in the back room, I also spied lemongrass in there. Who knows what other goodies you'll find?
