I don't even know where to begin in listing my praise for Kentic (and Jakub). Without him, the process of moving to the Czech republic and applying for a visa/zivno would have been an impossible and highly unpleasant experience. But with Jakub's professionalism, impressive knowledge of seemingly everything related to moving to Prague (from visa and zivno, to apt hunting, to where to go for taxes or insurance), the whole process turned out to be very painless and even quite enjoyable. His attention to details and his focus on me as an individual (not as just a set of paperwork) made me feel very at ease in the whole process. Never once was I worried about not getting my visa or having difficulty because I knew he'd be there to help out.

I have talked to other friends and expats who have had mixed results with the agency they went with, but I have nothing but the best things to say about Kentic and I highly recommend them to anyone I can if they need any kind of help. Jakub helped me with all it was needed for relocation and the residency papers after I moved to Prague. When arriving in Prague, my company got the immigration paperwork sorted out so my experience with Kentic has been somehow limited to flat hunting.

However, just for that, they have proven to be great added value, even though I finally found the offer that I chose, they found a direct contact with the landowner, getting in the process a better price than I would, they arranged the visit, got the contract sorted out (in Czech and in English) For me who hates paperwork, they have proven a far greater value than just an English/Czech speaking interface.

I have been in Prague for more than a year and wondered how I managed without Kentic. It was running from post to pillar for simple job till my good luck landed me to Kentic site and from then on it was smooth sailing. I had one-week time to find a flat in a certain area in Prague with a certain configuration (nr. of bedrooms, bathrooms, furnished, stylish). But the most important criteria was of course, the price. I am working almost everyday 10-12 hours and I would not have had time for searching a flat and arrange papers. Plus, I do not speak the local language yet. I recently moved to the czech republic and used Kentic for some of their expat services, they found me several excellent apartments to choose from, negotiated a much better price for the place I finally chose and I paid less for the finding fee than I would have dealing directly with the other broker. Then they arranged the necessary paperwork for a parking license and my foreign police documents all quickly and without hassle. During the whole process they were friendly and efficient and I recommend anyone to work with them!!

Myself and three colleagues recently came to Prague for a project, when we arrived we had nowhere to live and we were complete strangers to the change in culture and language. Bastiaan arranged us a temporary place to stay, showed us where to eat, drink, go out, and helped us find our flat without a finders fee. It was really helpful to have someone who speaks the language helping us out for our first couple of weeks, and especially when signing the contract for the apartment because we obviously can't read Czech and the landlord speaks only a little English.
