Well, I have to say, color me surprised. I am used to theme restaurants being, well, at best cheesy. This one has a lot of great military aviation history (photos, props, models, etc.) plus really good food. I've wanted to check it out for a while, but finally had the chance two nights ago.

I had the chicken with American bacon and blue cheese sauce (I know, eating light) and a side of onion rings (yes, honest-to-god delicious onion rings!). It was quite tasty, definitely better than I was expecting.

Only shortcoming was the chicken was undercooked when it first arrived. I sent it back and it came back perfect. So check out your meal before digging in!

I also noticed on other tables there was some meal that included knidliky delivered in a small cannon, in keeping with the military theme. Unfortunately you can't fire them out onto your plate, but it looks cool nonetheless.

They have English menus as well as Czech, so everyone should be happy. The ceilings in the room on the right are high, so even if there are lots of smokers, you don't seem to notice it much (a big + for me!).

Finally, dinner for two with sides and drinks came out to less than 500 Kc...pretty good for that neighborhood!

All in all, a definite positive experience and I will return again. Wings Club has made it into my restaurant rotation.
