The Wings Club was founded in March 2004 in order to
promote civilian and military aviation as well as good fellowships.
Besides excellent food, variation of wines and desserts, „the club“ known
amongst the fellow pilots, provides home away from home for members and
visitors. It is a place where one can enjoy an unhurried meal while appearing to
be in a little aviation museum. Each detail is a reminder of the traditional
Czechoslovakian pilots from the Second World War. The majority of artifacts are
original goods which belong to one of the three founders of Wings Club, Mark
Petru. The collection which represents only 10 % of Mark Petru collection, will
gradually be replaced with other artifacts, so that people will have the
opportunity to view all unique aviation memorabilia, which until now have never
been seen. All three founders of the Wings Club, George Vysoky, Petr Prediger,
and Mark Petru, who are all pilots themselves, are keen to serve the public with
knowledge and dedication so that they can support young aviation cadets that
will be established in the near future. That will give the opportunity for young
boys and girls who are financially not able to support their dream of flying.
Wings club can accommodate up to 75 people and the V.I.P. room accommodates up
to 12 people in a private setting, and is open daily from 11.30 – midnight. See
you soon in the Wings Club, where things happen and where the past meets the
future!
