Established in spring 2007, Schoultz & Partners offer sophisticated international and domestic business legal services across a range of disciplines. Our focus is on tailored support and guidance to select clientele requiring a creative, solutions-orientated, commercial approach.
Our unique grouping of people, combining international education and training backgrounds at top-level firms and legal institutions across Europe and the US, with extensive and invaluable local knowledge, expertise and hands-on experience, gives us a distinctive edge.
Our extensive experience in cross-border deals allows us to offer our transactional expertise and know-how throughout Central and Eastern Europe, working closely with trusted local counsel to close deals wherever our clients choose to do business.
At the local level we undertake all forms of corporate establishment and structuring, all types of business registration, start-up advisory, assistance with tax structuring, operational licensing, business contracts, financing, employment, protection of IP and real estate advisory.    Â
Our (British) managing partner, Katie Schoultz, is an Oxford University educated English solicitor and a New York State Bar qualified attorney and counsellor at law, with over15 years of practice experience in international law firms in London, New York and Prague.
Ms Schoultz established Schoultz & Partners with Jiri Simecek, a Czech advocate and New York State Bar attorney with more than 12 years of international law office experience, and Rostislav Sustek, a Czech advocate and highly experienced court room lawyer. Â
