More appropriately "Nightmare in Laundryland"! Would choose to wear dirty clothes over another visit this dive. Definitely to be avoided.

Yes I totally, totally agree with the previous posters on Laundryland on Londonyska. The blond lady is terrible, the place is a total dive. Not an ounce of friendliness or even an uttered dikuju. Strange, passive-aggressive atmosphere. Depressing interior. Avoid.

The other two reviews are very right about this woman. She has a very bad attitude and get easily frustrated if you don't know Czech. Anytime you ask for anything she acts like its not her job to help you and shes doing you a favor. I had the same experience with not having the exact change. Some machines are broken, most are taken, the place is always hot and cramped plus its expensive. I will be looking for a new place to do laundry!

if you are looking to be berated because you cant read the czech on the machines, or if you are looking for the scary woman to roll her eyes at you and sigh because you need her help, how dare you, ....then laundryland is totally the place to go. im waiting for my laundry right now and i will never ever go there again....

A laundromat that calls itself "LaundryLand" might be giving the impression that it's foreigner friendly, one would think. They advertise in Englisg speaking papers.

I used to go to the Londynska one because it was close but the lasy there not only didn't speak english, but was rather unpleasant about it. That's fine if you're just there to use the machines, but if you're asking for clothing alterations you need to be able to communicate.

She was also unpleasant about giving change back on a large bill "They don't give her enough money in the till" was what she said and I just think a laundromat should be well stocked with change. Call me crazy.

That was about a year ago, and maybe things have improved since then. They certainly improved for me - now I have a washing machine of my own, and don't need to put up with cranky laundry attendants and their lousy attitudes.
